Inhibition of Dust Re-Deposition for Filter Cleaning Using a Multi-Pulsing Jet

The re-deposition of detached dust during online pulse-jet cleaning is an important issue encountered filter regeneration. To reduce re-deposition, multi-pulsing jet schemes were designed and experimentally tested. A pilot-scale collector was built with one vertically installed pleated cartridge. effects pulse duration interval on the pressure tested, rate mechanism studied analyzed. It found that, for single-pulsing jet, had a critical value approximately 0.080 s in this test, above which remained at 0.75 kPa did not increase further. For small (less than 0.10 s), flows superimposed reached higher slight inhibition re-deposition. long (over 0.15 clearly inhibited. decreased from 63.8% scheme to 24.4% multi (five)-pulsing same total 0.400 s. lengthens reverse flow, resulting more elapsed time freely fall, inhibiting dust. five-pulsing recommended 0.25 2.8 times that duration.
